Free Veterans Dinner May 11

There are still a few seats opened for the Woodbury Lutheran Military Support Group free Pre-Memorial Day Dinner and Prayer Service. The dinner is being prepared by the La Cordon Bleu Culinary of arts Students.

Free tickets to the St. Paul Osman Shrine Circus

Once again, more than 1,000 tickets are available at no charge to Servicemembers - past and present - and military families to the St. Paul Osman Shrine Circus show April 4 at 7pm. Claim as many tickets as needed by stopping by the DCS Operations office near the west entrance at the Cottage Grove Armory

Twins Home Opener: Tickets available

The Minnesota Twins are offering tickets to Servicemembers - past and present - and military families. Claim up to 4 tickets for their Home Opener April 1 at 3:10 pm. You can get your tickets by stopping at the DCS Operations office near the west entrance at the Cottage Grove Armory any time after Monday, March 25. The Cottage Grove Armory is located at 8180 Belden Boulevard in Cottage Grove.

VRAP DEADLINE LOOMS!

According to the VA, over 94,000 veterans have applied for VRAP education benefits. To date the VA has approved over 77,000 Certificates of Eligibility. However, just over 27,000 of those eligible veterans have begun using their benefit. The VA is encouraging veterans to finish the process and get enrolled in eligible education programs as soon as possible.
